Dr. Justin Meiser, DPT, PES
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Justin earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his graduate degree from Saint Francis University where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy.
He has practiced in both outpatient and inpatient physical therapy settings giving him a vast understanding of the various phases of rehabilitation. He takes pride in helping people achieve their goals so that they can live their life without physical limitations. His frustration with the current systems and limitations causing his patients to be underserved is what caused him to create Breakaway Performance Therapy.
He wanted to give people the opportunity to experience physical therapy on their terms, not somebody sitting at a desk in Chicago deciding what is best for them. He also feels that athletes and active people are often overlooked by physical therapy because they may not be approved by their insurance to receive physical therapy thus discouraging them from getting the help they need. His movement expertise has helped many active people return to the activities that they love.
He has recently completed his performance enhancement specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to better serve his athletes and active patients. He has also completed various other orthopedic and sport related courses over his career to better serve his patients.
He enjoys spending time with his family, working out, kayaking, fishing, hunting, sprint car racing. His passion for helping people comes from his own determination to maintain a healthy lifestyle and encouraging others to do the same.
